Live at Henley Surf Club

Hi friends, fans and followers. If you missed our last gig at the Henley Beach Surf Lifesaving Club Sat 19th August then be glum no longer. You can listen to it here.

It was a lot of fun and a lot of effort but well worth it – we enjoyed ourselves immensely and there’s some new original songs that got their first run and a few other originals that are firmly entrenched in our repertoire. So much so that some of us have occasionally forgotten that they are originals and assume that they’ve come from the pantheon of blues greats.

We look forward to getting back to Henley Surf Club in summer when we look forward to playing ion the boasted – stay tuned, spread the word, get your friends to subscribe to our email updates for more gig news here or share our Facebook page here.

Put our next gig in your diary now and head over to The Port Noarlunga Blues Festival for tickets – stay tuned they will be on sale very soon. We’re playing at 7:00 pm Friday November 24th at The Port Noarlunga Surf Club followed by The Night Owls and lastly The Sexy Boys – what a lineup!

Stay tuned for updates. Cheers.

TinMen website changing

Hi TinMen subscribers and readers.

Due to spam and streamlining the address for this website will change in the next week or so to thetinmen with a dot “au” suffix – i.e. dropping the dot com – we’re not a company after all we’re a band and Australian.

There will be another email when this change has happened so look out for that in the next little while.

In the meantime don’t forget you can stream us on Apple Music, Spotify, Bandcamp, and YouTube Music, Amazon Music, etc.

Cheers!

Tinnisms and Finnenisms

Fresh from the resort that is Palais de Sly comes a selection of our original tunes that feature the dulcet tones of the one and only Chris Finnen – doyen of the Australian blues scene and an Adelaide institution in his own right.

Please head over to our Bandcamp page here if you’d like to tickle your aural tonsils with the delights that resulted from the pairing of The TinMen and The Right Honourable Chris Finnen (see below).

If that link doesn’t work try this one.

Don’t forget to subscribe here for regular updates by email. See you soon. Cheers.

Beag’s Bar Friday 16th Dec 6pm

Hi friends, family and fans. The TinMen return to their CBD haunt, Beag’s Bar next door to Light ADL, optimistic that it’ll be a warm summer evening, ready to play a swag of our originals and to throw in some new songs as a pre-Christmas bonus gift.

The Aurora kitchen has fantastic food and the bar has a great range of beverages so make the most of it while you also indulge your aural and visual senses with our own brand of synaesthesia friendly offerings.

Put 6pm Friday 16th December in your diary and come along as 2022 draws to a close and get that well deserved vaccination of TinMen originals to help you face 2023 with the right perspective on the world.

In other news we had a great gig at The Semaphore Worker’s Club that went well past midnight, got people dancing most of the night, and with all the whooping and hollering was a lot of fun. Our thanks to SWC and the folk at The Adelaide Roots and Blues Association for supporting live and original music so strongly.

See you there! Cheers.
